Focus Areas From newborns to senior adults, we are a growing body of faith that is dedicated to honoring God in all we do. We nurture growth through worship, Bible study, service and fellowship. Ministry to Children We help preschool children celebrate God's love through Bible stories and songs. For older children we provide worship and music experiences that are meaningful and fun. Our children's activities include choirs, summer camps, Vacation Bible School, TeamKID, and special holiday parties. Ministry to Youth Our Youth Ministry centers on guiding young people to spiritual transformation and lifelong learning in Biblical truth. We provide weekly discipleship training and opportunities such as ROC (Recreational Outreach Center), camps, conferences, choir and fellowships throughout the year. |
Ministry
to Adults Our ministry to adults is diverse and is aimed toward meeting the needs of adults of all ages and marital situations. In addition to small group Bible studies and discipleship activities there are adult choirs, music groups, retreats, fellowships, meals, and mission trips. Other Ministries Our deacon body is our principal outreach, visitation and counseling ministry group. On Monday evenings we host Tabitha's Table, a meal for Oak Ridgers who desire a free, home-cooked meal. Several local churches cooperate with us in this ministry. Other notable social ministries are our Clothes Closet, the Briceville Friendship Center, and participation in Habitat for Humanity builds. The Women on Mission and Missions to Go groups are our primary missions education and support groups. We plan summer missions events to share our faith and talents in communities in Tennessee and nearby states. And our Media Center provides thousands of Christian books, magazines and audio/video tapes for informing and educating our church and community. |
